Music, especially singing, has brought Courtney joy from a very young age. While growing up in church, she was naturally drawn to sing harmony with her tenor dad—before she knew the term for supporting the melody. Since 2014, she has been a member and leader within Allen Symphony Chorus in Texas, and performs solos as well as sings in the chorus. She has also performed with a chapter of Opera on Tap. In 2022, she performed as part of the Masterwork Festival Chorus at Carnegie Hall, singing Mozart’s Requiem. Courtney debuts with Dallas Classical Singers in their upcoming August 2023 show, Aria Laughing?.
